We’ve written before about the black lives matter billboard ad that went up on a Lamar billboard next to a confederate flag in Pittsboro, North Carolina.  Chatham Times reports that  the owner of the flag who also is leasing the land under to the billboard to Lamar is not renewing the lease with Lamar when it comes up in September.

What looks to be a letter from Lamar was  shared on the Chatham Stand Up Facebook page.

Insider’s take:  We suspect that Lamar knew what was going to happen when they ran this copy but decided that making a statement outweighed the value of retaining the lease.  What do you think of Lamar’s decision?  Let Insider know using the form below.
