Our readers were right when they challenged Billboard Insider’s estimate that it costs $80,000 to construct a 14′ by 48′ static billboard and $30,000 to construct a 12′ by 25′ steel monopole static billboard. Here are the results of Billboard Insider’s survey on construction costs. One in three of our readers spend between $80,000 and $100,000 to construct a 14′ by 48′ steel static monopole. About an equal number spend more than that or less than that.
One in three Billboard Insider readers spend more than $50,000 to construct a 12′ by 25′ steel monopole. Six of 10 readers spend more than $40,000. Four of 10 readers spend less than $40,000.
