Evidence that America is reopening is beginning to mount as the average number of daily miles traveled for individuals is up 18% from 9.8 miles during the week of April 6 to 11.5 miles during the week of April 20.
That’s according to an analysis from Geopath, the not-for-profit org that provides the industry-standard currency for out-of-home (OOH), and data enablement and processing company, Intermx.
The analysis reveals that the average daily miles traveled per week increased across all 50 states during the week of 4/20 vs the week of 4/13. Most notably:
- Colorado – 56%
- Alaska – 45%
- Minnesota – 44%
- Michigan – 43%
- New York – 40%
- Vermont – 33%
- Montana – 32%
- Wyoming – 32%
