About the Role:
The Sales Director will be instrumental in driving Ballyhoo Media’s national and local sales strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role is critical for building and managing a high-performing sales team, optimizing processes, and ensuring a seamless transition as we bring national sales in-house. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with deep experience in OOH sales who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute national and regional sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
- Drive revenue goal attainment with quarterly and annual targets while reporting accurate forecasts.
- Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing team of Account Executives and Sales Coordinators, ensuring quotas are met and client expectations are exceeded
- Implement a comprehensive sales training program covering the buyer journey, sales processes, and product knowledge.
- Lead high-level meetings and outreach with national agencies to build partnerships and secure RFPs.
- Target and strategize key accounts and agencies in collaboration with AEs.
- Establish quotas, monitor performance metrics, and ensure effective CRM usage.
- Manages and coaches sales team and holds them accountable against metrics.
- Develop a comprehensive transition plan for bringing National Sales in-house, ensuring no disruption in service with partner agencies and clients.
Qualifications:
- Must have 5+ years of Sales Management experience with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Proven OOH sales or related media sales experience, ideally in a management role.
- Experience leading a high-performing sales team with a focus on revenue generation and retention
- Strong understanding of the OOH landscape, including transit media, digital OOH, and traditional formats.
- Experience building and scaling sales teams in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and data-driven sales strategies.
