Design Coordinator – Billboard Artwork Specialist

Are you a creative and organized professional who loves working with customers to bring their vision to life? The Huntington Billboard Company is looking for a Design Coordinator to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring our customers’ billboard designs stand out and make an impact.
About the Role
As the Design Coordinator, you will be the bridge between our sales team and our customers, helping translate their ideas into compelling billboard artwork. Once a customer signs a contract, the salesperson will introduce you as their point of contact for the design process. You’ll work directly with customers to refine their concepts, coordinate with our design team, and ensure the final product meets both their expectations and our specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Onboarding: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers after they’ve signed a contract, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to design.
- Design Consultation: Collaborate with customers to understand their vision, branding, and messaging goals for their billboard design.
- Coordination with Designers: Work closely with graphic designers to ensure customer concepts are translated into high-quality artwork that meets technical and creative standards.
- Customer Approvals: Present design drafts to customers, gather feedback, and manage revisions to ensure complete satisfaction.
- Project Management: Maintain clear timelines and deadlines for design completion to meet installation schedules.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs align with the customer’s brand and the company’s design quality standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer preferences, design iterations, and approvals in our CRM and project management software.
Preferred Qualifications (not required)
- 3-4 years of experience in customer service, graphic design coordination, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with billboard advertising or outdoor media is a plus.
Compensation & Requirements
- Salary range is based on work experience.
- Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
