One of Billboard Insider’s friends toured a facility which makes tiny houses. The facility uses old billboard vinyl as a dropcloths under the houses. The vinyls cost $10 each online. Great to see another way to recycle out of home vinyl.
Rareform makes totes, duffles, wallets and bags out of used vinyl. The IBOUSA has a vinyl recycling program which the used vinyls are used for temporary shelter after storms and hurricanes. Arizona Billboard Company sells their used vinyls from their website.

Hi Dave,
Meadow used to give away vinyls for reuse but during the pandemic, found a worthy cause in Every Shelter.
Meadow Outdoor stockpiles used vinyl that is back hauled for free to Every Shelter in Houston, TX. The vinyl is shipped to refugee camps where refugees are employed to craft durable refugee shelters from the vinyl. Check them out:

Great follow up story. This group fully recycles
while creating housing and your group
contributes in real way. Tom
our old vinyls get recycled mostly here, but others have used them for stuff around the house and garden. some use them as cantilever over the side if their houses also instead of buying a tarp. they have a million uses though I just can’t think of much more just now haha.
