AllOver Acquires Pointsmith

MINNEAPOLIS—Oct. 31, 2023—AllOver, the nation’s leading provider of alternative out-of-home marketing and advertising, today announced the successful conclusion to its third quarter across its business lines. The strong performance was marked by the additions of several key customers and its acquisition of Pointsmith, a leading provider of campaign-centric promotional and merchandising materials.

Coming on the heels of its May purchase of Boxi, the fast-growing truck-media company, AllOver’s acquisition of Pointsmith creates three distinct lines of business: AllOver Media, Pointsmith, and Boxi—each of which offers complementary marketing and promotional services to leading brands and emerging businesses alike.

The new Pointsmith business unit works closely with elite nationwide brands in the retail fuels, convenience store, and quick-serve restaurant industries to deliver comprehensive in-location promotional programs that encompass point-of-purchase merchandising and displays, inventory and fulfillment, and high-touch customer service. Pointsmith’s client engagements are driven by lean marketing processes developed and refined by Six Sigma experts and talented creatives—all backed by a proprietary self-service software platform customers use to order materials.

AllOver CEO Jeff Griffing

“Pointsmith’s value stems from very close relationships with high-profile brands that combined have nearly a hundred thousand locations,” said Jeff Griffing, chief executive officer of AllOver. “We streamline and optimize their marketing operations with a complete range of promotional and merchandising materials for everything from counter and shelf displays to window clings, standup cutouts, and more. This represents an ideal complement to the AllOver Media business, and we expect the synergy of these two business units—and Boxi—to propel our company forward.”

Most recently, the Pointsmith unit secured a major engagement with a large retail fuels brand to support its 5,200 locations in 30 states with high-impact in-store promotions. AllOver Media (the subsidiary of AllOver) also scored major customer wins with multiple state agencies across the U.S., raising awareness for the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and opioid addiction resources, adding further to the company’s momentum.

Separately, AllOver announced the hiring of Steve Yaeger, as its new president of customer success. Yaeger will be responsible for leading the integration of Pointsmith and Boxi into the AllOver business, accelerating the customer-acquisition processes, and building scalable go-to-market strategies across business lines.

“We’re delighted to bring aboard an executive of Steve’s caliber,” said Griffing. “His deep background in customer acquisition and retention, product/service delivery, and strong experience in the media industry will help AllOver continue to accelerate our momentum and expand our presence as our business moves into a higher-growth phase.”
