A light-hearted billboard story to start your week. You’re not going to get away with an anti-meat billboard in Oklahoma. PETA put up a billboard calling Governor Kevin Stitt a Meathead after Stitt declared meat week in Oklahoma in response to Colorado’s governor declaring a meatless Monday. Stitt had the last laugh. He organized an event grilling steak and burgers and hot dogs under the billboard to publicize the importance of the agriculture industry to Oklahoma. Who says billboards don’t work.
#ICYMI: PETA put up a billboard in OKC calling Gov. Kevin Stitt a “meathead” for declaring a week in March “Eat Meat Week.” Stitt responded by holding a cookout near the billboard. He said it’s to show support for Oklahoma’s agriculture industry: https://t.co/EADze4FLJs #KOCO5 pic.twitter.com/VXWtlKYvdN
