On yesterday’s OAAA webinar PJ Solomon investment banker Mark Boidman cited estimates by eMarketer, Magna and Wall Street Research that out of home revenues will grow by 9-16% next year.
The big three chief revenue officers were cautious. Lamar’s John Miller said a lot of it depend on what GDP does but that 9-16% growth “is really aggressive.” Clear Channel Outdoor’s Bob McCuin said there are positive trends and he’s bullish but wouldn’t commit to a number. OUTFRONT’s Clive Punter said said “audience is prerequisite to ad spending” and “we’re all seeing sequential growth” but didn’t commit to a revenue increase.
