Kalil & Co. announced that Lindmark Outdoor Media had completed an acquisition with Yuma, AZ based Del Outdoor for their outdoor plant located in Albuquerque, NM.
Insider reached out to Trent Lindmark, owner of Lindmark Outdoor to discuss the transaction.
Trent, tell us about the transaction?
We purchased 27 structures with 68 faces. Four structures with a total of 5 faces are in Torrance County, with the remainder in Albuquerque.
Any digital structures in the acquisition?
There were no digitals in this deal, but there were three tri-visions. We’re going to have to analyze the market to determine whether or not we convert any of these locations to digital.
Was this a strategic acquisition?
The purpose of this acquisition was to allow us to provide our advertisers much-needed coverage in Albuquerque. Since Albuquerque has a cap and replace style ordinance, the only way to obtain coverage there is through acquisition.
Did the transaction come together well?
Del Outdoor is comprised of a great group of people, and it was a pleasure working with them on this transaction.
Trent, you have been in a significant growth mode. How many employees are involved in your operations?
We’re up to around 65 employees, including Blue Sky Digital Printing.
Max Drachman of Kalil & Co., whom represented Lindmark on the transaction, added:
“It was a pleasure working with the Lindmark team on this acquisition. Albuquerque is a dynamic market and these assets will be a great addition to the quickly growing Lindmark Outdoor Media platform.”
Lindmark Outdoor Media now has over 5,500 faces throughout the South. They ranked 7th in the Billboard Insider list of US Out of Home Companies Ranked by Bulletin/Poster Faces.
