Triblive reports that the city of Pittsburgh intends to appeal Friday’s ruling by Common Pleas Judge Joseph James reversing a Pittsburgh Zoning Board of Adjustment order for Lamar to remove a large billboard on Mt Washington.  Insider wrote about the case yesterday.

Insider’s take:  Seems like Mayor Peduto is pursuing a vendetta and trying to hold the Mt Washington billboard hostage to other issues.  Lamar has sued the city over the passage of a 10% tax on outdoor advertising and Lamar and the city are tangling over improvements to city bus shelters.
