Arizona Capitol Times reports that an Arizona lawmaker has introduced legislation to ban billboard advertising along interstate highways and numbers state roads.

Insider’s take:  States which permit medical marijuana or recreational marijuana usually end up placing restrictions on advertising.  California and Washington prohibit marijuana advertising near schools and day care centers.  California  limits advertising to areas where 71.6% of the population is younger than 21.  Try figuring out how to comply with that law!   Washington forbids advertisers from using images or logos which may appeal to kids.
