Billboards and colleges

WBUR has a post on how the University of Maine is buying billboards to advertise that it is discounting out of state tuition for students who meet certain academic standards.

NJ.com reports that Kean University is spending $303,000 on 10 strategically placed billboards in New Jersey, Delaware and Philadelphia to say that it is the most comprehensive and affordable university in the state.

Insider’s take:  Don’t overlook the universities, community colleges and tech schools in your markets.  They’ve got money to spend and are interested in geographically targeted ads which reach potential students.
