We’re 18 months into our Sioux Falls expansion and very pleased with the progress. Like any growth initiative, it has presented challenges including staffing, training, and operational efficiency. At the same time, we’ve secured new business opportunities and developed valuable customer relationships that likely would not have happened without the expansion. Looking ahead three to five years, I believe opening the Sioux Falls office will prove to be one of the best decisions we’ve made as a company.

We started 2026 with 13 digital billboards and expect to reach 20 by the end of October. Several strategic projects have recently come together, allowing us to significantly expand our digital footprint. This growth strengthens our ability to provide advertisers with a true regional presence and positions Stein Sign Display for an exciting year ahead in 2027.

Our family of companies includes ESCO Manufacturing and Stein Sign Display. ESCO is a national wholesale sign manufacturer, while Stein Sign Display provides signage and outdoor advertising solutions throughout South Dakota and the surrounding region. Together, we employ 125 dedicated sign professionals. By combining manufacturing expertise with local service and support, we’re able to deliver high-quality signage, exceptional value, and long-term customer care after installation.

Our digital displays are primarily supplied by Daktronics, whose headquarters are located just 45 minutes from our facility. Their innovative technology, reliability, and strong local support make them an excellent partner as we continue to grow our digital network.

As we prepare to celebrate 75 years in business, it’s humbling to reflect on the challenges and successes that have shaped our company over the decades. We’re optimistic about the future and believe 2027 has the potential to be our strongest year yet. Most importantly, we’re grateful to our employees, customers, and the communities we serve. Their trust and support have made our success possible, and we’re excited about what lies ahead.
