MH Outdoor Media, LLC is a member of the Mac Haik family of companies, founded in July 2011 in Houston, Texas. Marshall Henderson is the COO for MH Outdoor and Insider caught up with him to have a conversation about his background, the company and the future.
Marshall, we would like to start with an update on your current billboard inventory, static and digital, and the states you where you are operating?
MH Outdoor Media has 1,115 static faces and 62 digital faces located in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida Tennessee and one location in Georgia.
Which of the states have you had the most success in upgrading to digital from static?
Most of our Digital growth has come in Alabama and Florida.
With operations in six states, how do you manage installs and maintenance of your structures?
As with many companies that are spread over a large geographical area, we utilize independent contractor’s services in the various territories. However, our biggest need is building our sales team to keep pace with our current growth.
Have you started looking at AI? If so, where do you see the most potential for your operation?
We do use AI but only in an informal individual basis for assistance, time savings and information gathering, not yet for ongoing processes or procedures. I anticipate this will happen more as AI is incorporated into the tools we are already using.
