LOS ANGELES—SNA Displays has partnered with out-of-home media company KEVANI to bring Nexus, a vertically oriented large-format LED video wall, to the façade of Apollo South Bay Apartments in Gardena, California.
The newly developed, eight-story luxury residential complex is in the South Bay region of Los Angeles County near major tech, automotive, and aerospace hubs, including SpaceX, the Tesla Design Center, and Ring, as well as a quick drive away from Manhattan Beach, SoFi Stadium, and LAX.
Apollo South Bay was developed through a joint venture between the LA-based Cityview and the San Francisco-based Stockbridge real estate investment management firms.
The new media platform faces north towards the intersection of Crenshaw and W El Segundo Blvd. It is strategically positioned for maximum impact to capture southbound traffic on Crenshaw and full east/westbound traffic on El Segundo. Cantilevered to provide a better viewing angle toward the intersection and the 105 Freeway, the 8 mm EMPIRE™ Exterior LED spectacular measures approximately 61’5” tall x 40’ wide (2,340 x 1,520 pixels).

The high-impact digital-out-of-home (DOOH) display processes approximately 3.6 million pixels across 2,450 square feet of digital canvas and provides a powerful platform that places brands at the center of global attention as LA prepares to host numerous high-profile sporting events over the next several years.
