2017 is a big year for IMAGE MEDIA Advertising, Inc. (IMAGEoutdoor.com) We are in the process of developing our own Premium Digital Expressway locations. Utilizing some of our plant’s best static expressway bulletins, we are converting multiple locations to Digital this year.
IMAGE MEDIA has partnered with WatchFire Signs. Our initial Two 16mm Watchfire Signs are being installed this week. Longtime IMAGE MEDIA vendor AllSteel Structures Inc. is doing a terrific job of installation and renovation as needed. IMAGE has several additional Digital locations in the works.

Yes, big fans. Our Watchfire Signs rep and the rest of the WatchFire Support and Install teams have been great to work with. We are deploying 16mm OT screens M series latest and greatest technology. The WatchFire Ignite Online software is also very user friendly, ultimately we plan to have authorized user accounts for a handful of key Brands/ Agencies.
This past Q4 we rebuilt a Landmark two facing static sign structure in Berkeley, IL. This location is a perm and generates some of the highest impressions in the entire Chicago marketplace, located between the I-294 Tri-State Tollway and I-290 Eisenhower Expressway. Our Real Estate team has been very busy. We secured several New Static locations for development in addition to securing Digital Permits for sign conversions.
As for Campaigns, IMAGE MEDIA posted some terrific advertising this past year. Wintrust Financial continues to deploy fabulous creative and outside-the-box placements on multiple perm locations with IMAGE. As a Legacy Partner to the Chicago Cubs, Wintrust Financial rang in the Cubs World Series win in 2016. This campaign started as a cheer for the Cubs and ended with a congratulations reveal message. Individual bulletins with only the win “W” on a white flag also were posted.
oohPitch and Bridgestone Tires made a big impact for the 2016 Olympics with their “Archers” copy. With 2D Extensions an Archer and a Large Tire were affixed to bulletins adjacent to one another. A 3D arrow (from Atomic Props Inc.) then appears to pierce the tire of the second bulletin as if fired across, very well executed “throw message / Jumpboards” IMAGE MEDIA posted this on the i9094 Kennedy and i290 Eisenhower Expressways:
