My wife Julie calls me a Billboard Nerd (I confess I am), but even though she is not “in the business”, she has been around long enough to know what interests me.  She was driving up to a corner in north Spokane, and noticed this sign, partially blocked by a tree. Yes, that is an evergreen, so it is a year round blockage.

As she got to the corner and could see the rest of the copy (below) on the billboard, she knew this was a clever use of a marginal location.

I wonder if she drove around the block to get these pictures.  Guess I will need to ask her?
