How much does it cost you to build a static steel monopole billboard?

Billboard Insider had several readers comment that we underestimated billboard construction costs when we wrote in Creating Value By Building Static Billboards that it was possible to build. 12′ by 25′ steel monopole for $30,000 and a 14′ by 48′ steel monopole for $80,000.  Costs vary geographically and also by whether a company handles construction in house.  Take our anonymous poll on build costs below.  We’ll run a followup post presenting the results
