Jan 14, 2025. CLEARWATER MINNESOTA: Franklin Outdoor Advertising, a third generation, family-owned billboard company and the largest Minesota-based billboard company, headquartered in Clearwater, Minnesota is excited to announce three key promotions:
Dan Franklin has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). His duties will include setting the overall company vision and growth strategy, maximizing profitability, cultivating Franklin’s external relationships, managing company resources, establishing policies, creating a growth-oriented employee culture, and strategic hiring.Dan graduated in 2006 from St. John’s University, Collegeville, MN, with a bachelor’s degree in business management/marketing. He joined Franklin Outdoor in 1998 and was most recently their Director of Operations.
Robert (Bob) Schwartz has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) His duties will include developing and executing strategies to maximize revenue generation across all Franklin Affiliated Companies, strategically expanding the sales department, aligning sales and marketing growth efforts, monitoring market trends, and identifying new revenue opportunities. Robert is a graduate of St. Cloud State University, St. Cloud, MN, with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing/marketing management.He began his career with the Franklin Outdoor division in 1989 as a sales rep, later serving as National Sales Manager, and most recently as Vice President of Sales.
Janelle Hennen has been promoted to Office Manager. Prior to joining Franklin Outdoor, Janelle worked in database coordination at Innovative Processing, administrative support at Cathedral High School and traffic at Leighton Broadcasting. Janelle joined Frankin Outdoor in 2020, most recently working in administrative support.
Dan Franklin said “The bedrock of Franklin Outdoor over the past 48 years has been the tenure and devotion of our staff. I’m proud to award these promotions as a reward for their hard work and dedication and the recognition that their leadership will lead growth in the coming years.”
All of these promotions take effect immediately.
