First, let’s clear up a conversation I often have at IBO conventions. Does the MH in MH Outdoor stand for Marshall Henderson?

While I strive to make every decision as if the MH does stand for Marshall Henderson, MH Outdoor Media is one of several companies affiliated with Mac Haik Enterprises.

I know in 2021 you made a couple of acquisitions. Do you still consider your company to be in a growth mode?

We continue to pursue growth and acquisitions where it makes sense. MH Outdoor has actually closed several acquisitions over the last two years ranging from 2 to 100 faces.

Can you provide us with an update on your billboard inventory. How many faces does MH have? Of those, how many are digital?

Currently MH Outdoor has 1,102 faces, 46 of which are digital.

Are you utilizing programmatic to supplement revenue on your digital faces? Any thoughts on how programmatic is working for you?

We do utilize the exciting new opportunities available for our digital inventory. I am intrigued by where this is going. The growing pains can be challenging but we like to work with all the tools available to us and are intentional about positioning MH Outdoor to participate in all the viable opportunities. I have been very pleased so far.

Any thoughts on changes you are making to your business plan due to rising interest rates and inflation?

Due to the intrinsic value of Billboards we focus on not getting distracted by circumstances. The reality is, the value of our medium is actually enhanced in a weaker economy. We focus all the more on maximizing opportunities for our clients while others may be pulling in their horns. It is critical to keep our eye on the long game and help our clients do the same. We must guard our own minds and actions if we hope to help our clients. As the airlines say when the masks come down, “put your own mask on first before helping others”.
