You know a billboard has been noticed when it attracts pranksters.  We’ve written before about this Lamar Kansas City Royals billboard which includes a 14 foot foam player.  KSHB reports that last Wednesday night vandals cut five bolts and removed the 150 pound, $7,500, foam player from the board.  The Charlotte Observer reports that the foam mannikin was found in good condition in a weedy area near the scene of the theft.

Insider’s take:  Sounds like the work of some disgruntled St Louis Cardinal or Chicago Cubs fan.  Insider thinks this board is a great example of how to incorporate props into design.
