Why Tech Companies Are Using OOH

lamar logoAllie McAlpin Communications Director at Lamar has a great post at Blue Bite titled Why Tech Companies Are Using OOH.  She talks about recent tech company outdoor campaigns (e.g. Snapchat’s user generated content and Apple’s “shot on iphone 6” ads).

McAlpin mentions that a recent Ad Research Foundation study found that the optimal ad mix is 22% digital, 78% traditional media.

McAlpin also makes a great point about digital ads: “Digital reaches consumers when they are online searching but OOH is an effective way to inspire consumers to search online.”

Remember that next time a buyer or business owner tells your that they’re putting all their ad budget into digital.
