Where have national revenues gone?

It’s been a common refrain from the CEO’s of the Big Three on their 2017 earnings transcripts that national sales have been weak, excepting the fourth quarter of 2017 which had political.  Insider asked a senior out of home sales executive for her opinion and here’s what she said:

“National Account Sales are fairly strong on the interstates and downtown areas.  The “A” boards stay booked up, but the mediocre locations not so much.

The biggest thing that I see is a shortened contract term  due to all the digital locations in the market!  Contract terms average 4, 8, 12 weeks max.  It’s a lot of “churning” over and over again.
