More developments in the Washington DC digital sign saga which Insider wrote about earlier this week.

Don MacCord and Shannon Doyle have been indicted by the FBI for conspiracy to commit wire fraud, false writings to a government agency, obstruction of official proceedings and destruction alteration or falsification of records.  You can read the indictment here.

City Paper did a December 6 article rehashing the charges against Don MacCord and Shannon Doyle.

Insider hears that Digi Media Communications, the Delaware LLC  which currently has the permits to construct digital signs is DC has cut all ties to Don MacCord.  MacCord had been a minority shareholder but has resigned.  Insider also hears that Digi Media Communications purchased no signs from Signworks, LLC. the sham company which MacCord and Shannon Doyle set up to defraud their investors.
