Whoever owns data will own the advertising surrounding driverless cars says Sara Fischer at Axios.

Former Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker has formed a Scenic Utah chapter to fight billboards.  The Salt Lake Tribune did a fairly even handed piece, quoting Dewey Reagan on the importance of billboards to local businesses.

Lamar General Manager Tim Polochak was interviewed by YourErie.com in a feature on how the billboard industry has evolved from pasted signs to recycled polyurethene and digital billboards.

Vote.org is zeroing in on states that have a high number of registered voters who don’t typically show up at the polls. The group launched more than 2,500 billboards and “transit advertisements,” including wrapped double-decker buses across the country. Vote.org is also running more than 1,200 ads in college newspapers and a texting campaign in 29 states.
