The Greater Baton Rouge Business Report has a Q&A posted with Lamar Advertising CEO Sean Reilly.  Insider provides a link to the article but here are some excerpts.

  • Sean Reilly is a Harvard and Harvard Law School graduate, his hometown is Baton Rouge and  served as a state representative in Louisiana from 1988 to 1996. 
  • Through the deployment of solar technology, Lamar has reduced their electric bills from $35 million annually to $20 million.  CEO Reilly also includes their use of super efficient LED lighting as another reason for the reduced expense.
  • Did you know that Lamar owns and utilizes one of the world’s largest 3-D printers?
  • Reilly is most proud of Forbes Magazine naming as Lamar one of the top 10 most honest and trustworthy public companies.
  • Digital technology is the biggest change in the industry and Lamar has over 2,500 digital billboards in service.
  • The Lamar CEO on the transition team for new Louisiana Governor John Bel Edward with a focus on higher education.
