After a hard day at work, or in the garden, there’s nothing like a hot soak in the tub to relax and ease your muscles, maybe even to escape with a good read or glass of wine to unwind. And we’re not the only ones to think that either, as many outdoor advertisers think the same way too, whether to it be to market TV shows, movies or solar water heating. Today Daily Billboard Blog’s ‘3 of a Kind’ showcases three examples of bathtubs used with great effect in outdoor ads in the city skyline.

First up is a fun creative for the revival of NBC’s sitcom Will & Grace, with stars Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Megan Mullally and Sean Hayes enjoying a bubble bath with extra bubbles to toast their return for a ninth season after eleven years being off the air. This eye-catching Sunset Strip billboard and others like it were snapped around L.A. during September 2017.

Next up is a similar shared bathtub, this one with funny ladies Tina Fey and Amy Poehler for the familial comedy Sisters. This engaging special extension cut-out for the winter movie was spied along Olympic Boulevard during November 2015.

And finally the third luxurious example is for solar water heating from SoCalGas and this bathing beauty was captured above Pico Boulevard in June 2018. This extension cut-out billboard really stood out with its simplicity of message and imagery.
