I had the pleasure this weekend of saluting not one but two OAAA member companies celebrating their 100th anniversary.

Paul Cook and his family, employees, customers, and friends celebrated 100 years of business for Wolverine Sign Works this afternoon at a Dixieland-music-filled picnic in Owosso, MI.

Mary Jane Shackleford and her father Rod Barnes, and the other Barnes family members held their 100th anniversary celebration for Barnes Advertising Corp at an elegant black-tie dinner in Zanesville, OH.

I have the best job in America, but I don’t remember a better weekend than
this one, honoring two 100-year-old family-owned outdoor advertising companies.
