Pomona Voters Narrowly Reject Digital Billboards

pomonaThe Daily Bulletin reports that Pomona voters have narrowly defeated a proposal to allow digital billboards.  The measure was failing by a vote of 7,313 to 6,819.  The measure would have allowed digital billboards at 10 city owned locations along I-57, I-60 and I-71.  The boards would have generated $1 million a year for the city over a 40 year period.
