Out of the office: Ian Dallimore

Ian Dallimore, Director of Innovation and Digital Strategy at Lamar tells Insider this:

When my mind isn’t thinking up the next bizarre innovative concept to change the OOH space I’m spending time relaxing, if you call it that, at the beach with the family.  Coincidentally it’s spent in Pensacola Beach where Lamar Advertising was founded in 1902. My wife and her family have been visiting Pensacola Beach since she was a baby and we’ve spent every summer their since I’ve know her.  Our 6 year old triplets; Jake Amelie and Ellie and 4 year old Wes love spending every moment at the beach and in the ocean. To most relaxing on the beach includes a drink with an umbrella or a good book, for me I’ve always been active and having four kids we are always doing something.  I picked up Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) about 7 years ago and have been competing in races ever since. It’s my relaxing space to be on the water and push myself physically and maybe win a race here and there. Now days I spend more time teaching my kids the importance to respect the ocean and how to paddleboard.
