Lamar wins round in Pittsburgh Fight

Pittsburgh Post Gazette reports that Lamar has won a round in a protracted court battle with the city of Pittsburgh when a District judge dismissed a city citation claiming that Lamar had increased the size of the sign on Mt Washington when it added vinyl banner.

The city has gone to court to make Lamar take down the 32 foot by 225 foot sign.   Lamar appealed.  The court hearing is May 11.

Scenic Pittsburgh entered the fray by asking Lamar to sell the sign.  Scenic Pittsburgh Assistant Director even posted this message on the Billboard Insider website:

Scenic Pittsburgh seems to be backpedalling from this offer according to next pittsburgh.
