Jeff Joaquim on left hand reads

Left hand reads hard to sell?  Not this Marquee Media Board.  Insider talked with Jeff Joaquin of Marquee Media  about making left hand reads a success.

What makes a left hand read work?

  • It has to first be a location that has 1,000 feet of visibility.
  • We try to make sure all cross reads/LHRs are built as close to the roadway as legally possible.
  • We look for sites and placements where the road/freeway bends a bit, to help with the viewing angles.
  • We engineer for the best allowable V-build we can get to help create a head on viewing corridor for the displays. We also believe in building as close to windshield viewing level as possible while clearing all obstructions.  This helps fill the motorist windshield with an inescapable large format display and longer dwell time.
  • Great creative is then the final key ingredient to making the lasting impression that engages people and helps give the experience sticking power.
