NJ105 reports that Shore Board is using a floating billboard to targeting beach goers in Ocean and Monmouth counties.  Shore Board owned by Charlie Michaels.  The board rents to businesses and for birthday announcements, welcome home announcements and congrats.

Insider’s take: Wonder what the regulator authorities will do.  A floating billboard in Vancouver was regulated out of business in April 2016.   Seattle prohibited floating billboards alongside bridges over Lake Washington by claiming that city regulations remain effective half way across the lake. It’s a complex issue however, because a floating billboard is not located on public property. See this 2001 article titled “Regulation Of Floating Billboards.”
